When the Pro Stay campaign speak of solidarity, it suggests the EU was a grassroots union of European Countries created for and by the people.

But this could not be further from the truth. The EU was created by aristocrats, bankers and the US CIA.

In 1923 the idea for the EU was proposed by the Count Coudenhove-Kalergi. In his book "Pan-Europa" he proposed the destruction of nation states to be replaced by a "United States of Europe". This was to be governed by his own aristocratic class.

Coudenhove envisioned a world of 5 superstates; the United States of Europe(EU) ; the Pan-American Union (North and South Americas); the British Commonwealth (circling the globe); the USSR spanning Eurasia; and a Pan-Asian Union(Japan, China and the Pacific).

In 1924 he was introduced to Max Warburg by Baron Louis de Rothschild. Warburg offered to finance his movement and brought in banker Paul Warburg and financier Bernard Baruch.

The US CIA saw the benefit of dealing with a single superstate run by an elite class. In 1948 the American Committee for a United Europe (ACUE) was created. It's vice chairman was the director of the CIA. By 1958, they were providing 53.5 per cent of the funds for the European Movement.

An ACUE memo dated June 11, 1965, advises vice-president Robert Marjolin of the European Economic Community to pursue monetary union by stealth. It recommended suppressing debate until the point at which "adoption of such proposals would become virtually inescapable".

Today we see Count Coudenhoven's vision of a world carved into superstates coming to fruition with the consolidation of Europe. This is further enhanced by the upcoming TTIP, TPP, TISA free trade agreements.

So it is all good and well believing you are voting for solidarity or unity but ask yourself who is running the show?
